As you all know that the summer
season is here with long sunny days to make you feel tired and dehydrated.
But don’t worry you can feel active and energetic by
adopting just few habits that are listed below:
Drink plenty of water
Water is crucial to maintain your
physical and mental health and most of the problems in summers such as
headaches and stomachaches occur due to the dehydration. So, first and
foremost, drink excess of water at least 8 glasses a day to stay hydrated and
healthy during the scorching heat of summers. Water is important to retain
normal electrolyte balance in the blood and thus the blood pressure.
Take appropriate food
The smart food choices make you
stay healthy and active. Try to avoid caffeine as a first thing in the morning,
initially have some water or natural juices and then tea or coffee. Similarly,
during the day time have two or three servings of water containing fruits such
as water melon, kiwi, melon, plums and grapes. These fruits will help to
replenish your water and energy levels and thus keep you going.
Regularly intake of vitamins
Vitamins are energy boosters so
are important for health throughout the year and especially in the summer times
when there are long working hours. If you are not used to taking vitamins then
must add vitamin complex in your diet particularly the vitamin B that will help
to substitute the energy loss occurred due to heat.
Have small food servings
It is best for the gut to have
small meals after shorter intervals instead of taking three big meals. Big
meals may create a pressure on the stomach as it is difficult to rapidly digest
the food whereas it is easier to digest the smaller and more frequent meals.
Moreover, the energy remains reserved when we take meals after shorter
intervals. So, have smaller meals and stay energetic.
Do some exercise and avoid the sun
Physical activity such as the
aerobic exercise is good for health. Even if you are extremely tired due to
busy work schedule, take some time for the exercise because it will keep you
healthy and active and you will have a very good sleep after physical exertion.
Another important thing to remain
energetic during summers is to avoid sun as much as possible!
